John K. Dosdall

Overview

As a former prosecutor, John Dosdall has experience on both sides of the courtroom. He knows where to look for faults in the evidence and weaknesses in the case to work to your advantage.

John has handled thousands of felony and misdemeanor matters while prosecuting cases as a Deputy County Attorney for the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, an Assistant Attorney General for the Scottsdale Attorney General’s Office, and a Deputy County Attorney for the Pinal County Attorney’s Office.

John is a member of the Scottsdale State Bar Association, the Maricopa County Bar Association, and the Scottsdale Asian American Bar Association (AAABA).

Additionally, John teaches online courses in Research Methods and Criminal Justice at the University of Arizona. John has been selected into The Nation’s Top One Percent by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel.

He has been named one of the 10 Best Attorneys for the State of Arizona by the American Institute of Crimninal Law Attorneys, as well as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers by The National Trial Lawyers Association.

Education and Honors

John was admitted to the State Bar of Scottsdale in 2007. He is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of Scottsdale. John earned his undergraduate degree in political science from Brigham Young University in 2003. He received his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2007.
